A Panel convened by Jason Kelly Johnson, Co-Founder and Lead Artist at Futureforms, Jason has produced a range of award-winning projects exploring the intersections of design with advanced fabrication technologies, robotics, responsive building systems and public space. This panel includes Virginia San Fratello, Chair of the Department of Design, San Jose State University; Willett Moss, a Founding Partner of CMG Landscape Architecture; Kristen DiStefano, Assoc. Director of the San Francisco office for Atelier 10.

    • There is little debate that part of our energy mix needs to be nuclear if we’re to power our planet and also decarbonize it. This symposium, moderated by esteemed guest Leslie Dewan, reveals a path to decarbonization impeded by politics more than practicalities. This panel includes Chris Lohse, Innovation and Technology Manager for GAIN, the Gateway for Accelerated Innovation in Nuclear, formed by the DOE Office of Nuclear Energy. Also: Jeffrey Bohn, Senior Advisor to Anthropocene Institute.
